Gabriel Ngwiri (Fort Worth, TX) and Magaly Soto (Arlington, TX) earned the top overall male and female honors, respectively, at the Impossible Possibilities (IP) 4th Annual St. Patrick's Day 5K Festival on March 17, 2012.

Ngwiri set a new 5K Festival course record with an overall time of 15:45, breaking the 2010 record set by Ramiro Garcia (16:04). Soto finished with a time of 19:48. Soto and Ngwiri's first place finishes helped secure the fastest team award for the Texas Running Center (TRC).

The 2009 5K women’s champion Laura Nelson (21:03), also running under team TRC, took home first place in the female masters division. James Jackson (17:18) from Aubrey, TX, claimed the men’s masters division title with splits of 5:33 per mile.

Not to be outdone by the adults, 11-year-old Jack Cervasi (Arlington, TX) and 9-year-old Gia Santini (Roanoke, TX) won the boys and girls 1-mile divisions, respectively. Cervasi finished with an overall time of 8:54, followed by Santini who clocked in at 9:15. CLICK HERE FOR FULL RACE RESULTS
