IP Discontinues 5k Festival, Forms Advisory Board

race start2

After careful consideration, Impossible Possibilities (IP) has decided to discontinue hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day-5k Festival at Trinity Park in Fort Worth, Texas.

“Although the 5k Festival has been a great outlet for Impossible Possibilities over the past four years, the Board has made the strategic decision to focus its resources and attention on building the organization’s existing programs,” Executive Director Joshua Hernandez said. “We're grateful for all the community support received from those who have attended the festival in the past.”

Moving forward, IP will form an Advisory Board (AB) consisting of Junior and Senior level members. The AB will be comprised of seasoned professionals in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and will provide strategic support to the organization’s Board of Directors. IP will host its annual AB Meeting on April 18, and will also feature its own Speaker Series beginning in May.

Impossible Possibilities is a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit organizations based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area providing education initiatives locally and abroad.
